Where it all began in early 2001. Long live the revival of oldskool... Unfortunately it we was ten years too early and went in completely the wrong direction and failed miserably to generate any homegrown interest. Two releases on this label, which sold mainly in Japan and Germany. Got championed by Rob Da Bank on his Radio 1 leftfield show & subsequently almost got us signed to Virgin records and Carl Cox's label. Despite this we till have a few hundred copies floating about of Ectopicbeats Vol2. Our favourite of the two releases with the offical acidic Electric Tribe remix of DJ Skywalkers legendary Killerwhale track. Ave it! Labels not dead.....Just having a rest.

The first of many releases. 2 track 1 sider. Pretty cheesy listening back but was right for the time. Brings back memories of it being played at Raindance.

Released 2002|Ectopicbeats - dlb & Penfold - Volume 2
Second release about a year later (takes us ages to get organised). A-Side is a hardcore remix of classic hard trance tune DJ Energy - Believer. B-Side official remix Electric Tribe remix of DJ Skywalkers classic....Killerwhale. Few copies available of this still. Can be purchased through the Discogs link (Seller: dlb).

Couple of unreleased bits here wirtten at the same time as Ectopicbeats Vol 1. Recorded in the now defunct Kinetec Studios. Good times.
1. MAFB (Back to 92 mix) - An alternative mix to MAFB from Ectopic Beats Vol 1. In hindsight I think we prefer this mix and was intended to come out on a remix ep that never materialised.
